Email Automation

Type: EmailAction

Sends an email notification when triggered by a process action.

Properties

• Recipient Email Address: Target email address (static or dynamic field reference)

• Subject: Email subject line

• Body: Email message content (plain text)

Configuration

Recipient Email Address

Can be configured in two ways:

1. Static Email - A constant email address (e.g., "user@example.com")

   • Must match email format pattern: ^[\w\.-]+@[\w\.-]+\.\w+$

2. Dynamic Field Reference - Reference a field in the current process

   • The referenced field value should contain a valid email address

   • Resolved at runtime from the process instance

Subject

• Plain text string

• Should be descriptive and contextual to the process action

• Used as the email header subject field

Body

• Plain text content

• Provides context about the process action

• Should contain relevant information for the recipient

Validation

• Recipient email address must match valid email format

• Subject and body are required fields
